Bahman Mofid
Bahman Mofid ( fa, بهمن مفید; 27 July 1942 – 16 August 2020) was an Iranian actor. Biography Bahman Mofid was born in Garakan, a village near Arak, to father Gholam-Hossein Mofid a stage director and actor. His siblings included Bijan Mofid, a playwright; Ardavan Mofid, an actor; and sister Hengameh Mofid, a poet and songwriter. He started acting in childhood, under the direction of his father. He died 16 August 2020 after battling cancer. Behesht-e Zahra Cemetery
Behesht-e Zahra ( fa, بهشت زهرا, lit. ''The Paradise of Zahra'', from Fatima az-Zahra) is the largest cemetery in Iran. Located in the southern part of metropolitan Tehran, it is connected to the city by Tehran Metro Line 1. History In the early 1950s, all the cemeteries in Tehran were supposed to be replaced by several large new ones outside the then precincts of the capital. Behesht-e Zahra was built in late 1960s on the southern side of Tehran towards the direction of the city of Qom and opened on 29 June 1970 by mayor of Tehran, Gholamreza Nikpey. It was named by Ayatollah Ahmad Khonsari. The first person buried in Behesht-e Zahra was Mohammad-Taghi Khial on 25 July 1970. Qeysar ( fa, قیصر, italic=yes; ; alternative titles in English include: Qaiser, and Gheisar) is a 1969 film by Iranian filmmaker Masoud Kimiai. The film was considered a "landmark in the Iranian cinema" and led to a new trend for brooding ''noir'' dramas in which outraged family honor is avenged. Ali Hatami ( fa, علی حاتمی , August 14, 1944 – December 7, 1996) was an Iranian film director, screenwriter, art director, and costume designer. The ''Tehran Times'' dubbed him "the Hafez of Iranian cinema due to the poetic ambiance of his movies."
