Bahisht
''Bahisht'' is a Pakistani family drama film produced by Neelo and written by Riaz Shahid. The film stars Nisho and Nadeem in leading roles with Nayyar Sultana, Talish, Lehri, Zamurrad and Saiqa in the supporting cast. After the censorship that ''Yeh Aman'' (1971) faced, Shahid decided to come up with a more basic theme. The post-production work of the film started during the filming of ''Yeh Aman''. During the film's production, Shahid contacted with Cancer and died halfway leaving the film incomplete, and was directed by Hassan Tariq. The music of the film was composed by Rashid Attre and A. Hameed. A. Nayyar made his debut as a playback singer with the film. The film won 4 Nigar Awards, including the "best film". Riaz Shahid
Riaz Shahid (1927 – 1 October 1972) was a Pakistani filmmaker, film writer, and a journalist. Early life and career Riaz Shahid was born in 1927 in Quetta, British India. He belonged to a Punjabi Kashmiri family. He was the father of a famous Pakistani film star Shaan Shahid. Shaan was only one year old, when his father died. His real name was ''Sheikh Riaz'', but was called by his nickname ''Shahid''. He was educated at Islamia College, Lahore, Pakistan. Riaz lived in Lahore where he started his career as a journalist for the newspaper ''Chataan'' and later joined Faiz Ahmed Faiz's ''Lail-o-Nihar''. He also wrote a novel named ''Hazar Dastaan''. Bilquis Khanum, also known as Nisho (Urdu; نشو۔; born 1954) is a Pakistani film actress. Early life Bilquis Begum was born on 1954 in Gujrat, Punjab, Pakistan. She completed her studies from University of Punjab. Career In the beginning, ''Nisho'' did theatre at school. She made her big screen debut in the film ''Baazi'' in 1970. Nayyar Sultana (born Tayyaba Bano; 1937 – 27 October 1992), sometimes referred to in Pakistan as ''Malka-i-Jazbaat'' (Queen of Sentiments), was a Pakistani film actress. She became one of the foremost screen actresses of Lollywood in the 1950s and 1960s. Career She started her movie career with Anwar Kamal Pasha's film ''Qatil'' in 1955 as a supporting actress. Agha Ali Abbas Qizilbash (also known as Agha Talish, ur, ) (13 November 1923 – 19 February 1998) was a Pakistani actor who made his debut in 1947 and was mostly known and recognized in Pakistan for playing character actor or villain roles. Hassan Tariq (22 October 1934 – 24 April 1982) was a Pakistani film director, film producer and screenwriter who was famous for making films like Anjuman, Kaneez, Baharo Phool Barsao, ''Dewar Bhabhi''.
