Bahar Toksoy
Bahar Toksoy Guidetti (born 6 February 1988) is a Turkish volleyball player. She plays as a middle blocker. She currently plays for Türk Hava Yolları SK. She plays for the Turkish national team. Career Club career With VakıfBank, she won the gold medal at the 2010/2011 CEV Champions League. They also finished second in their domestic league losing in the final to Fenerbahçe. Bahar won the silver medal at the 2011 FIVB Women's Club World Championship in Doha, Qatar with them and was awarded Best Server of the tournament. In 2011/2012 season, VakifBank did not advance to the Final Four of the CEV Champions League but they beat Fenerbahçe in the semifinal of the Turkish League before losing to Eczacıbaşı VitrA in the final. Toksoy won the gold medal at the 2013 Club World Championship playing with Vakıfbank Istanbul. In 2015, she played for Italian volleyball team, Savino Del Bene Volley. Mediterranean Games
The Mediterranean Games is a multi-sport event organised by the International Committee of Mediterranean Games (CIJM). It is held every four years among athletes from countries bordering the Mediterranean Sea in Africa, Asia and Europe. ''Habertürk'' (literally: "News Turkish"), abbreviated as ''HT'', was a high-circulation Turkish newspaper. It was established on March 1, 2009 by Ciner Media Group, drawing on the brand of Ciner's Habertürk TV. It ceased publication on 5 July, 2018. Giovanni Guidetti
Giovanni Guidetti (born 20 September 1972) is an Italian volleyball coach. He's been coaching Turkish team Vakıfbank Spor Kulübü since 2008. He coached the Turkey women's national volleyball team, Turkey women's national team between 2017 and 2022. Career Guidetti coached from 1995 until 1998 the team Volley 2000 Spezzano in his hometown. In 1997, the team was promoted to the Italian Women's League Serie A. For this success, he was awarded the title "''Coach of the Year.''" Between 1997 and 2000, he served as the vice coach of the Italy women's national volleyball team. 2011 Women's European Volleyball League
The 2011 Women's European Volleyball League was the third edition of the annual Women's European Volleyball League, which featured Women's national volleyball teams from twelve European countries: Belarus, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, France, Greece, Hungary, Israel, Romania, Serbia, Spain, and Turkey. A preliminary league round was played from May 25 to July 10, and the final four tournament, which was held at Istanbul, Turkey, on 15/16 July. During the league round, competing nations were drawn into two pools of four teams, and played each other in a double round-robin system, with two matches per leg in a total of six legs. 2010 FIVB Volleyball Women's World Championship
The 2010 FIVB Women's World Championship was the sixteenth edition of the competition. Like the previous tournament, the 2010 edition also was held from 29 October to 14 November 2010 in Japan, though the range of venues and locations was modified slightly (Matsumoto and Hamamatsu replaced Sapporo and Kobe in 2010). Twenty-four teams participated in the tournament. The tournament was won by Russia, who finished with a perfect record, defeating Brazil in the intense final game. Japan defeated the United States for the third place, winning their first bronze medal in the tournament history, and the first medal since 1978, having so far three gold and three silver already to their name. 2009 Women's European Volleyball Championship
The 2009 Women's European Volleyball Championship was the 26th edition of the European Volleyball Championship, organised by Europe's governing volleyball body, the Confédération Européenne de Volleyball. The cities that hosted matches were Bydgoszcz, Łódź, Katowice and Wrocław in Poland, from 25 September to 4 October 2009. Qualification Format The tournament was played in three different stages.
