Huriye Baha Öniz (1887 – November 2, 1950) was a Turkish educator and politician. Baha was her father's name and Öniz was the surname which she had assumed after the Surname Law. She was amongst the first group of women elected to the Turkish parliament. Life Huriye Baha was born to Baha and Ayşe in Istanbul, then the capital of the Ottoman Empire, in 1887. Bahauddin Baha (بهاءالدين بهاء )، (Jurist of Islamic Law, Author, Poet, born in Herat Province, Afghanistan) was Deputy Chief Justice of the Afghan Supreme Court from 2006 to 2016. Baha also served as a Supreme Court Justice and member of the High Judicial Council of the Supreme Court during the 1980s. Bahaa Trabelsi (born 1966) is a Moroccan novelist. Trabelsi was born in Rabat and went to secondary school in Morocco and then she emigrated to France. Baha Abu al-Ata ( ar, بهاء أبو العطا; 25 November 1977 – 12 November 2019) was a leader of Islamic Jihad Movement in Palestine (PIJ). On 12 November 2019, the Israeli Defence Forces (IDF) killed Abu al-Ata and his wife in a targeted killing, four of their children and a neighbour were also reportedly injured.
