Steve Baddeley was forced to withdraw from the men's singles and mixed doubles bronze play off's due to severe blistering on his feet. Gillian Clark (badminton)
Gillian Margaret Clark (born 2 September 1961) is an English badminton commentator and former badminton player who specialized in doubles. Badminton career World Championships Clark won two bronze medals at the World Championships a decade apart; for women's doubles in 1983, and for mixed doubles in 1993. Olympic Games Clark competed in badminton at the 1992 Summer Olympics in women's doubles with Julie Bradbury. In the first round they defeated Erma Sulistianingsih and Rosiana Tendean of Indonesia and in the second round Katrin Schmidt and Kerstin Ubben of Germany. Kerrin Charters Harrison (born 27 April 1964/ref>) is a New Zealand badminton player. Along with Glenn Stewart, he won a bronze medal in the badminton men's doubles at the 1986 Commonwealth Games in Edinburgh, Scotland. David Humble
David Gerard M. Humble (born 6 March 1967 in Dumfries, United Kingdom) is a retired male badminton player from Canada. Born in the United Kingdom, he later moved to Alberta and started to represent Canada in international tournaments. Career Humble competed in badminton at the 1992 Summer Olympics in men's singles. He lost in the first round to Darren Hall, of Great Britain, 15–6, 15–4. He was a finalist at the 1991 Irish International, where he lost 10–15, 3–15 to Jeroen van Dijk of the Netherlands. Stephen John Baddeley (born 1961) is a retired male badminton player from England who competed from the early 1980s to the early 1990s. Badminton career Baddeley won the English men's singles title in 1982, 1985, and 1987. He is the only Englishman to win men's singles at the quadrennial British Commonwealth Games and one of only two to win the gold medal in men's singles at the biennial European Badminton Championships (1990). Gordon Lang (25 February 1893 – 20 June 1981) was a Welsh Congregationalist minister and Labour Party politician. He was Member of Parliament (MP) for Oldham from 1929 until 1931, and for Stalybridge and Hyde from 1945 until 1951. Amy Chan MBE ( zh, p=Chén Niàncí, t=陳念慈; also known as Chan Lim Chee; born 27 June 1961) is a retired badminton player from Hong Kong who won gold medals in World championships and Commonwealth games.
