Badhaai Ho
''Badhaai Ho'' (; ) is a 2018 Indian Hindi-language comedy drama film directed by Amit Ravindernath Sharma and produced by Sharma, Aleya Sen and Hemant Bhandari under Chrome Pictures and Vineet Jain under Junglee Pictures. It stars Ayushmann Khurrana and Neena Gupta with Gajraj Rao, Surekha Sikri, Shardul Rana and Sanya Malhotra in supporting roles. The film tells the story of a middle-aged couple who get pregnant, much to the disappointment of their sons. Based on a script written by Shantanu Srivastava and Akshat Ghildial and a story conceived by Jyoti Kapoor. ''Badhaai Ho'' received positive reviews and was a commercial success. With earnings of over against a budget of , it emerged as the ninth-highest-grossing Bollywood film of 2018. Amit Ravindernath Sharma is an Indian director and producer working predominantly as a director of television commercials. In feature films, he is best known for the 2018 film ''Badhaai Ho'', which was one of the highest grossing Bollywood films of 2018, having earned ₹220.34 crore ( $31 million) as of December 2018. Biography Early life and career Sharma was born in Delhi, India to parents who worked for the government. While still in school, he connected with film director Pradeep Sarkar, and was invited to shoot an advert in Manali. The National Film Award for Best Supporting Actress is an honour presented annually at India's National Film Awards ceremony by the Directorate of Film Festivals (DFF), an organisation set up by the Indian Ministry of Information and Broadcasting. ''Andhadhun'' () is a 2018 Indian Hindi-language black comedy crime thriller film co-written and directed by Sriram Raghavan. It stars Tabu, Ayushmann Khurrana, Radhika Apte and Anil Dhawan. The film tells the story of a blind piano player who unwittingly becomes embroiled in the murder of a retired actor. The script of ''Andhadhun'' was written by Raghavan, Arijit Biswas, Pooja Ladha Surti, Yogesh Chandekar and Hemanth M. Rao. The film was edited by Surti, and K. U.
