Bad Moves
Bad Moves is an American power pop band from Washington, D.C. They were formed in 2015, and are currently on Don Giovanni Records. The band consists of David Combs ( The Max Levine Ensemble, Spoonboy, Somnia, Dim Wizard), Katie Park (Hemlines), Daoud Tyler-Ameen (Art Sorority) and Emma Cleveland. History Bad Moves released a self-titled debut EP in 2016 on Don Giovanni Records. In May 2017 they supported Scottish band The Spook School on a partial UK tour. In mid to late April and early May 2018 they, along with Martha of England, supported Jeff Rosenstock for the Northeastern and Midwestern leg of his US tour. They went on to record their first full-length album ''Tell No One'' at Philadelphia's Headroom Studio with Joe Reinhart of Hop Along. Hop Along is an American indie rock band from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, formerly known as Hop Along, Queen Ansleis. History Hop Along began as an acoustic freak folk solo project known as Hop Along, Queen Ansleis in 2004, during Frances Quinlan's senior year in high school. Quinlan released their debut album ''Freshman Year'' in the summer of 2005. Quinlan performed an acoustic solo act for several years as they honed their style. "I would envy ull ensemblesbecause I thought that a band inherently carries more energy than a person does solo. ''Untenable'' is the second studio album by American power pop band Bad Moves. It was originally scheduled for release on May 29, 2020 under Don Giovanni Records but the release date was later delayed until June 26, 2020. The first single from the album, "Party with the Kids Who Wanna Party with You" was released on April 7, 2020. The second single "End of Time" was released on May 5, 2020. The Obsessives
The Obsessives is an American rock band from Washington, D.C. History Made up by best friends Nick Bairatchnyi and Jackson Mansfield, The Obsessives started in 2013 as a two piece band. The outfit was often compared to similar sounding Emo bands, though Bairatchnyi cites a lot of his early inspiration from the band Weatherbox. They self-released their first EP, ''Die Trying'' on May 2, 2013. In 2014 they released two EPs, ''Bad Friends'' and ''Manners'', the latter would later be released on Near Mint Record, who also released their debut LP, ''Heck No, Nancy'' on September 18, 2015.
