Jenny Burton (born November 18, 1957, New York City, New York) is an American Rhythm and blues, R&B singing, singer who had several hits on the United States, US ''Billboard (magazine), Billboard'' dance Record chart, chart. Career She was lead singer of the dance music band C-Bank's 1983 Top 40, Top 5 Hot Dance Music/Club Play single (music), single "One More Shot", notable for record producer John Robie's use of a "non-linear" approach to its production. In 1983 Burton went solo, releasing the album ''In Black and White'' also produced by Robie. Frederick Craig McFarlane (November 14, 1959 – September 3, 2016) was an American R&B songwriter, record producer and multi-instrumentalist. McFarlane's career as a songwriter and producer spanned more than 30 years. He wrote or co-wrote a number of R&B and dance hits including Jenny Burton's " Bad Habits" in 1985; Robin S.' 1993 debut single " Show Me Love" which he co-wrote with Allen George; and Jason Derulo's "Don't Wanna Go Home".
