Backbone (Anthony Callea Album)
''Backbone'' is the fifth studio album by Australian pop singer Anthony Callea. The album is produced by James Roche of Bachelor Girl and was released on 16 September 2016. It reunites Callea with Sony Music with whom he signed in 2004 and released two studio albums and two number 1 multi-platinum-selling singles. Callea said, "I'm so fortunate that Denis Handlin and Sony Music have embraced my idea of ''Backbone'' and allowed me to make this exciting album with them." Upon announcement of the album, Callea said "With ''Backbone'', we have explored songs that we all know and love – and we've been able to get to the core of these songs, their lyrics and melody, bringing them to the surface with organic and creative musical instrumentation and vocal delivery." TLC is an American girl group whose original line-up consisted of Tionne "T-Boz" Watkins and Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes. Formed in Atlanta, Georgia, in 1990, the group enjoyed success during the 1990s. Wilbur H. "Will" Jennings (born June 27, 1944) is an American lyricist. He is popularly known for writing the lyrics for the songs "Tears in Heaven" and "My Heart Will Go On". He has been inducted into the Songwriter's Hall of Fame and has won several awards including three Grammy Awards, two Golden Globe Awards, and two Academy Awards. Life and education Jennings was born in Kilgore, Texas. He attended school near Tyler, Texas in the Chapel Hill Independent School District. Stephen Lawrence Winwood (born 12 May 1948) is an English musician, singer, and songwriter whose genres include blue-eyed soul, rhythm and blues, blues rock, and pop rock. "Higher Love" is a 1986 song by English singer Steve Winwood. It was the first single released from his fourth solo LP, ''Back in the High Life'' (1986). Lowen & Navarro was a songwriting team composed of David Eric Lowen and Dan Navarro, who met in Los Angeles, California, in the 1980s. They wrote the song "We Belong," which became a major hit for Pat Benatar in 1984, and the song "Hammerhead Shark" which was re-written and included on David Lee Roth's gold certified 1991 album "A Little Ain't Enough". They became active as a performing group in 1987. In 1990, they began to release a number of records of their own, including "Learning To Fall" and "Purpose". On March 17, 2004, Lowen was diagnosed with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), also known as Lou Gehrig's disease. Because of compromises to his playing and singing, Lowen & Navarro ceased touring.
