Bachman Branch (also Bachman Creek) is the name of a medium-sized tributary of the Trinity River with headwaters in northwest Dallas, Texas (USA). The tributary is in length and rises at Forest Lane, west of the Dallas North Tollway. It runs south and then west through Bachman Lake and ultimately into the Elm Fork of the Trinity River.. Northwest Dallas
Northwest Dallas is an area consisting of many communities and neighborhoods in Dallas, Texas, (USA). Geography The area is bordered by I-635 to the North, Stemmons Freeway to the West, the Dallas North Tollway to the East and to the South it goes to the junction of I-35E and the Dallas North Tollway. There are a number of residential and commercial neighborhoods in Northwest Dallas. Of particular note are Love Field, home of Dallas Love Field airport, and the Stemmons Corridor, a stretch of hotels and office towers along Interstate 35E. The Dallas North Tollway (DNT, or simply the Tollway) is a controlled-access toll road operated by the North Texas Tollway Authority (NTTA), which runs from Interstate 35E near downtown Dallas, Texas (USA), to U.S. Highway 380, in Frisco, Texas. The Dallas North Tollway was the first toll road in the United States to implement electronic toll collection technology, with the introduction of the TollTag in 1989. Bachman Lake is a small freshwater lake located in the Bachman Lake community of northwest Dallas, Texas (USA). It covers and lies on the northwest boundary of Dallas Love Field in the airport's landing path and the western boundary of the upscale Bluffview neighborhood.
