Baby Huey
Baby Huey is a gigantic and naïve duckling cartoon character. He was created by Martin Taras for Paramount Pictures' Famous Studios, and became a Paramount cartoon star during the 1950s. Huey first appeared in ''Quack-a-Doodle-Doo'', a ''Noveltoon'' theatrical short produced and released in 1950. Famous Studios Huey first appeared onscreen in the '' Noveltoons'' short ''Quack-a-Doodle-Doo'', released in theaters on March 3, 1950. The character's voice was provided by Sid Raymond, an actor and comedian who created several other voices for Famous Studios' characters, including Katnip from Herman and Katnip. The Baby Huey Show
''The Baby Huey Show'' is an animated television series which ran in syndication during the 1994–95 and 1995-96 TV seasons. The show featured the Famous Studios/Harvey Comics character Baby Huey. 26 episodes were produced by combining old theatrical Famous Studios cartoons and new made for TV shorts. These were the first Baby Huey cartoons since the 1959 theatrical cartoon ''Huey's Father's Day''. Huey was voiced by Sid Raymond, reprising his role from the original Famous shorts. The first season was produced by Carbunkle Cartoons, a company which did animation on selected episodes of ''The Ren and Stimpy Show'' for seasons one and two. Martin Taras
Martin Bernard Taras (9 August 1914 – 2 November 1994), also known as Morrie Tarasinsky, was an American cartoonist who mostly worked at Famous Studios, the New York-based animation division of Paramount Pictures. Career Taras started his animation career at Van Beuren Studios in 1934 until its closing in 1936. He was involved in the 1937 Fleischer Studios strike, but abandoned it shortly after to take a job for Jam Handy. Tara then took a job at Famous Studios, where he is known for the creation of Baby Huey. Huey debuted in the first Casper comic issue in September 1949, six months before his cartoon debuted in Quack-A-Doodle-Doo. Taras also animated films and drew comic books featuring characters such as Casper the Friendly Ghost, Spooky the Tuff Little Ghost, Rags Rabbit, Wendy the Good Little Witch, Herman and Katnip, and Buzzy the Funny Crow. Film Roman, LLC is an American independent animation studio currently based in Woodland Hills, California and formerly in Burbank. It was previously owned by Starz Inc., which is now a division of Lionsgate, and later by Waterman Entertainment, the production company of producer Steve Waterman. Don Markstein's Toonopedia (subtitled A Vast Repository of Toonological Knowledge) is an online encyclopedia of print cartoons, comic strips and animation, initiated February 13, 2001. Donald D. Markstein, the sole writer and editor of Toonopedia, termed it "the world's first hypertext encyclopedia of toons" and stated, "The basic idea is to cover the entire spectrum of American cartoonery." Markstein began the project during 1999 with several earlier titles: he changed Don's Cartoon Encyberpedia (1999) to Don Markstein's Cartoonopedia (2000) after learning the word "Encyberpedia" had been trademarked. During 2001, he settled on his final title, noting, "Decided (after thinking about it for several weeks) to change the name of the site to Don Markstein's Toonopedia, rather than Cartoonopedia.
