Jane Birkin
Jane Mallory Birkin, Order of British Empire, OBE (born 14 December 1946) is an English-French singer and actress. She attained international fame and notability for her decade-long musical and romantic partnership with Serge Gainsbourg. She also had a prolific career as an actress in British and French cinema. A native of London, Birkin began her career as an actress, appearing in minor roles in Michelangelo Antonioni's ''Blowup'' (1966), and ''Kaleidoscope (1966 film), Kaleidoscope'' (1966). In 1968, she met Serge Gainsbourg while co-starring with him in ''Slogan (film), Slogan'', which marked the beginning of a years-long working and personal relationship. ''Ex-fan des sixties'' is an album by Jane Birkin. The album was released in 1978. All songs on the album were written by Serge Gainsbourg and produced by Philippe Lerichomme. "Dépressive" was inspired by "Sonate n°8, opus 13" by Ludwig van Beethoven. Birkin has said that she had difficulties recording the album and that they had to stop recording and start again six months later. Alain Chamfort (born Alain Joseph Yves Le Govic; 2 March 1949) is a French singer of Breton origin. Life and career Chamfort was a promising pianist in his youth, and the piano became his instrument of choice. His first band The Dreamers had minor success as a repertory jazz outfit, and was followed by a typically sixties rock music group Murator. Alan Frederick Parker (born 26 August 1944) is an English guitarist and composer. Parker was born in Matlock, Derbyshire, and was trained by Julian Bream at London’s Royal Academy of Music. William Alan Hawkshaw (27 March 1937 – 16 October 2021) was a British composer and performer, particularly of library music used as themes for movies and television programs. Hawkshaw worked extensively for the KPM production music company in the 1950s to the 1970s, composing and recording many stock tracks that have been used extensively in film and TV. He was the composer of a number of theme tunes including ''Grange Hill'' (originally library music recorded in Munich known as "Chicken Man") and ''Countdown''.
