Babe Rainbow is the moniker of Canadian musician Cameron Reed. Reed first came to prominence following the release of two records as Babe Rainbow on the UK-based Warp Records, ''Shaved EP'' in 2010 and ''Endless Path EP'' in 2011. Mixing the genres of Dubstep, ambient, hip-hop, and Noise music, Babe Rainbow's early Post-dubstep material was described as "creating "overcast, suffocating sonic landscapes" that evoke a sound "like living in a haunted house". In addition to providing official remixes for artists such as Grimes, Midnight Juggernauts, and Jokers of the Scene, Reed has provided production to up-and-coming rappers and occasionally releases free EPs of demos and works-in-progress. ''Babe Rainbow'' is the third album by British alternative rock band The House of Love: it was critically acclaimed by both '' Select'' and ''Spin''. Background ''Babe Rainbow'' is the only House of Love studio album to feature Simon Walker (ex- Dave Howard Singers as well as being Chris Groothuizen and Pete Evans’ bandmate in My White Bedroom). Walker had replaced Terry Bickers as lead guitarist in December 1989 and would himself leave the band in mid-1992 (to be replaced by Simon Mawby of The Woodentops). Former House of Love member Andrea Heukamp returned as a guest performer to add extra guitar and backing vocals. The album’s producer Warne Livesey co-wrote two songs with Guy Chadwick – "You Don’t Understand" and "Feel" – which were the first House of Love songs not entirely written by Chadwick. Michael Volpe (born May 12, 1987), known professionally as Clams Casino, is an American record producer and songwriter from Nutley, New Jersey. Volpe is currently signed to Columbia Records and Sony Music. He has produced tracks for artists such as ASAP Rocky, Lil B, Vince Staples, Joji, The Weeknd, and Mac Miller and has also remixed works by Big K.R.I.T., Washed Out, and Lana Del Rey. Career A resident of Hasbrouck Heights, New Jersey, Volpe got his start in music tinkering with keyboards while he was a student at Nutley High School. Main Attrakionz is an American hip hop duo from Oakland, California, composed of rappers Mondre M.A.N. (Damondre Grice) and Squadda B (Charles Glover). Career Grice and Glover met in the seventh grade when they were both kicked out of math class, and began recording raps together. Porcelain Raft
Porcelain Raft is Mauro Remiddi's main music project. The New York-based musician began his long, prolific career in Italy, the place of his birth, playing for small, local projects. After composing the original soundtrack for the 1997 Italian short-film ''La Matta dei Fiori'', and collaborating and touring the world with various bands, Remiddi launched his first solo recording project under the moniker Porcelain Raft, and in 2010 released his first solo EP ''Gone Blind'' with Acéphale Records. In 2011 he signed with Secretly Canadian and released the debut Porcelain Raft full-length record ''Strange Weekend'' which peaked at #33 on the ''Billboard'' Top Heatseekers Albums chart. ''Pitchfork'' (formerly ''Pitchfork Media'') is an American online music publication (currently owned by Condé Nast) that was launched in 1995 by writer Ryan Schreiber as an independent music blog. Schreiber started Pitchfork while working at a record store in suburban Minneapolis, and the website earned a reputation for its extensive coverage of indie rock music. Jokers Of The Scene
Jokers of the Scene, composed of Linus Booth (also known as DJ Booth), and Chris Macintyre (also known as Chameleonic), are a Canadian Techno/Electronica, Electronic production and DJ duo. History Booth and Macintyre formed Jokers of the Scene in Ottawa, Ontario in 2003 as loft party disc jockeys; they played their own recorded tracks and remixes, as well as hosting other local rappers. Jokers of the Scene evolved into a full-time partnership after signing a recording deal with Fool's Gold Records in 2007. Midnight Juggernauts
Midnight Juggernauts were an Australian band from Melbourne, composed of Andrew Szekeres, Vincent Vendetta (Vincent Heimann), and Daniel Stricker. The band has been described as anything from 'prog dance meets cosmic film scores', to 'slasher-flick disco' to 'deadpan landscape'. Following the release of numerous 7" and 12" singles, and limited edition EPs, the band released their debut album, ''Dystopia''.
