BR-365
BR-365 is a Brazilian federal highway that begins in Montes Claros, Minas Gerais and ends in São Simão in the state of Goiás. Duplications The highway is duplicated in a few parts near Uberlândia. The stretch between Uberlândia and the junction with BR-153 was doubled between 2010 and 2020. In 2020, there was also a forecast to double between the junction with BR-153 and Ituiutaba. Economic importance The BR-365 has its greatest economic importance through the flow of agricultural production from Minas Gerais. It also promotes regional and state integration, facilitates tourism to the beaches of Espírito Santo and the Northeast Region, among others. Via the BR-365, grain from the Center-West region travels to the Port of Santos, and the route is used to supply the southern region of Goiás and Minas Gerais, among others, with industry products, building materials and food. São Simão, Goiás
São Simão is a municipality in south-central Goiás state, Brazil. Location São Simão is strategically situated on the border of Goiás with Minas Gerais, which makes it a major river navigation link between central Brazil, the Prata river system and the South Atlantic. By way of the Paranaíba-Paraná-Tietê river system, from São Simão one can travel from Minas to São Paulo, Paraná, Paraguay and Argentina. Montes Claros
Montes Claros is a city located in northern Minas Gerais state, in Brazil. The population is 413,487 (2020 est.) in an area of . It was made a seat of a municipality in 1831 and attained city status in 1857. History The region was originally inhabited by the and Amerindians. Patos de Minas is a municipality in the state of Minas Gerais in Brazil. BR-153 is a major federal highway of Brazil, officially named the Transbrasiliana Highway. It also serves as part of the Belém–Brasília Highway in the stretch located between the cities of Wanderlândia, in the state of Tocantins, and Anápolis, in the state of Goiás. It crosses Brazil in a north–south direction, starting in São Domingos do Araguaia, in the state of Pará and ending in Aceguá, in the state of Rio Grande do Sul on the Brazil/Uruguay border.
