Ballina Byron Gateway Airport
Ballina Byron Gateway Airport is a small regional airport located at Ballina, New South Wales, Australia. It is owned and operated by Ballina Shire Council. It serves Ballina and the nearby town of Byron Bay, a 20-minute drive north. Ballina Airport handled 365,200 passengers in the 2012/13 financial year. It is from the Ballina CBD, in Southern Cross Drive. An occasional bus service operates to and from the airport, except on Christmas Day. In 2005 Ballina Airport was renamed Ballina Byron Gateway Airport in a bid to attract more people to the area. A master plan for an upgrade and expansion of the terminal has been drawn up and may be constructed with a new glass facade facing the apron and runway as well as a new drop-off/pick-up area and multiple interior changes. The Kurdish Institute of Paris (french: Institut kurde de Paris), founded in February 1983 by (amongst others) film producer Yılmaz Güney and poet Cigerxwîn, is an organization focused on the Kurdish language, culture, and history. It is one of the principal academic centers of the Kurdish language in Europe. Its main publications include the linguistic journal ''Kurmancî'', a monthly press review about Kurdish issues titled ''Bulletin de liaison et d'information'' (Bulletin of Contact and Information), and ''Études Kurdes'', a research journal in French. Lymphopoiesis (lĭm'fō-poi-ē'sĭs) (or lymphocytopoiesis) is the generation of lymphocytes, which are one of the five types of white blood cells (WBCs). It is more formally known as lymphoid hematopoiesis. Disruption in lymphopoiesis can lead to a number of lymphoproliferative disorders, such as the lymphomas and lymphoid leukemias. Terminology Lymphocytes are considered to be of the lymphoid lineage as opposed to other lineages of blood cells such as the myeloid lineage and the erythroid lineage. Nomenclature, the system of naming things properly, is not trivial in this case because although lymphocytes are found in the bloodstream and originate in the bone marrow, they principally belong to the separate lymphatic system which interacts with the blood circulation.
