BM Dubs (born Andrew Kirby) is an English garage DJ and producer. Biography He is best known for his 2001 hit version of "Whoomp! (There It Is)" which reached No. 32 on the UK Singles Chart and No. 4 on the UK Dance Singles Chart. It is based on the 2000 release "Whoops.... We'll Be in Trouble!" by Mr. Rumble who is credited on BM Dubs' version which also features Brasstooth and Kee and samples the Timo Maas remix of Azzido Da Bass's " Dooms Night". In July 2000, his white label release "Too Shady", which samples Eminem's "The Real Slim Shady" peaked at No. 49 on the UK Independent Singles Chart. "Set You Free" is a song written and recorded by English rave band N-Trance, featuring vocals from English singer Kelly Llorenna. It was first released as a white label record in 1992, then officially released as a single in April 1994, just making the UK top 40 at No. 39. A re-release in January 1995 was much more successful, peaking at No. 2 in the UK. Same year, it was included on the band's debut album, '' Electronic Pleasure'' (1995). Later, it was remixed and re-released in 2001, this time reaching No. 4. Background The song was inspired by a night out in the Haçienda in Manchester that N-Trance's Kevin O'Toole had in 1989. Tru Faith & Dub Conspiracy was a collaboration between two UK garage groups, Tru Faith (consisting of members George D, Maxim Elmalki & Nial Montgomery), and Dub Conspiracy (Andrew Hunter & Ian McKenzie). They are best known for their sole UK chart hit single, a cover of the Adina Howard song "Freak like Me", with British singer Imaani on vocals. Their version reached No. 12 on the UK Singles Chart in September 2000, and spent 5 weeks on the chart, as well as reaching number one on the UK Dance Singles Chart. Tru Faith & Dub Conspiracy initially released a remix of Adina Howard's "Freak like Me" titled "Freek Me" on About 2 Records, backed with a remix of Beenie Man and Chevelle Franklyn's "Dancehall Queen". N-Trance () are a British electronic music group who were formed by Kevin O'Toole and Dale Longworth in 1991. The group is known for their European hit songs " Set You Free" and "Electronic Pleasure", and their covers of the 1970s disco songs "Stayin' Alive", "D.I.S.C.O.", " Shake Ya Body", and "Da Ya Think I'm Sexy?". They had 14 charting singles in the UK during 1994–2004.
