BK Marienlyst
Boldklubben Marienlyst, commonly known as BK Marienlyst, Marienlyst, or BM, is an association football club based in Odense, Denmark, that competes in the Denmark Series, the fourth tier of the Danish football league system. Founded in 1922, it is affiliated to the regional DBU Funen football association. The team plays its home matches at Marienlystcentret, which has a capacity of 1,200. The club recognises itself as the "eternal Funen Series club", and has only played a few season in the higher divisions. The volleyball department is one of the best of its kind in Denmark, winning 9 Danish championships. History Early history Boldklubben Marienlyst was founded in 1922, and it is thus Odense's fifth oldest still existing football club, after OB, B 1909, B 1913 and Odense KFUM. Funen
Funen ( da, Fyn, ), with an area of , is the third-largest island of Denmark, after Zealand and Vendsyssel-Thy. It is the 165th-largest island in the world. The 2016–17 Danish Cup was the 63rd season of the Danish Cup competition. Copenhagen won the tournament, earning qualification into the second qualifying round of the 2017–18 UEFA Europa League. However, as Copenhagen also won the 2016–17 Danish Superliga, Brøndby, the cup runners-up, were allotted the position. Danish Cup
The Danish Cup ( da, Landspokalturneringen; often referred to as Pokalen) is the official "knockout" cup competition in Danish football, run by the Danish Football Association. The cup has been contested annually since 1955. The winner will qualify for the UEFA Europa League tournament the following year, where they (as of the 2009–10 season) will enter in the third qualifying round. The latest edition, 2017-18 Danish Cup, was won by Superliga-side Brøndby, beating Superliga-side Silkeborg 3–1 on 10 May 2018 at Parken Stadium, thereby winning their first domestic trophy since 2008. Aarhus Fremad (, "Aarhus Forward") is an association football club located in Aarhus N, the northern part of Aarhus, Denmark.
