Bara Khyber Agency
Bara ( ps, باړه; ur, ) is a town located in Bara Tehsil in Khyber Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. Kohat is located to the south while Peshawar is located to the north of Bara. Overview Bara is also the name of the local administrative division of Bara Tehsil in the Khyber Agency within the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa of Pakistan, of which Bara Town is the administrative seat. The Bara River flows through the town. The town has a fort built by British Raj and supplied water to Peshawar. Bykovo (russian: link=no, Быково) was a small regional airport serving Moscow, Russia, of which only the runway remains. The airport was located about southeast of the city along the Ryazan highway and railway close to the town of Zhukovsky. It has one 7,250 ft (2,210 m) runway. The airport served mainly short-haul domestic flights due to its short runway. History Bykovo Airport first opened in 1933. The airport first had a grass-surfaced runway. During World War II it was rebuilt (1000 × 80 m; brick-covered). In 196, it was rebuilt again. In 1975, the terminal building was built (capable of serving 400 passengers per hour); in 1975, it served 1.5 million passengers. The Belarusian Home Defence, or Belarusian Home Guard ( be, Беларуская краёвая абарона, , BKA; german: Weißruthenische Heimwehr) were collaborationist volunteer battalions formed by the Byelorussian Central Council (1943–1944), a pro-Nazi Belarusian self-government within ''Reichskommissariat Ostland'' during World War II. The Missions Abroad and Special Operations (in German: ''Auslands- und Spezialeinsätze'', abbreviated BKA-ASE) is a specialized unit within the German Federal Criminal Police Office (BKA). The ASE is composed of specially selected and trained BKA personnel that typically operate in high-threat environments. History Background and creation On August 15, 2007, three BKA agents who served as part of the security detail of the German Ambassador of Afghanistan were killed. This proved that the personnel conducting these tasks were not appropriately trained and prepared to face the threat of attacks which became increasingly complex. Amputation is the removal of a limb by trauma, medical illness, or surgery. As a surgical measure, it is used to control pain or a disease process in the affected limb, such as malignancy or gangrene.
