(abbreviation for Biotechnology and Biomedicine Center in Vestec) is an association of Legal person, legal entities which consists of six institutes of the Czech Academy of Sciences, the Faculty of Science and the First Faculty of Medicine of Charles University in Prague. The institute was opened in 2015. In law, a legal person is any person or 'thing' (less ambiguously, any legal entity) that can do the things a human person is usually able to do in law – such as enter into contracts, sue and be sued, own property, and so on. The European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) is one of the European Structural and Investment Funds allocated by the European Union. Its purpose is to transfer money from richer regions (not countries), and invest it in the infrastructure and services of underdeveloped regions. This will allow those regions to start attracting private sector investments, and create jobs on their own.
