BC Žalgiris-2
BC Žalgiris-2 is the reserve team of the professional basketball club Žalgiris Kaunas. The club is based in Kaunas, Lithuania. The team currently competes in the Lithuanian second division ''Nacionalinė Krepšinio Lyga''. They play their home games at the Žalgiris training facility, which is also home to some young players that come from outside of Kaunas. National Basketball League (Lithuania)
The National Basketball League (NKL) (), also known as 7bet-NKL for sponsorship reasons, is the second-tier basketball minor league in Lithuania. It is placed below the top division Lietuvos krepšinio lyga (LKL). The competition currently consists of 14 teams. The champions of the league have the option to promote to the LKL. However, this rarely happens, as most clubs do not meet the requirements for budget and seating capacity. Paulius Jankūnas (born 29 April 1984) is a retired Lithuanian professional basketball player who mainly played for Žalgiris Kaunas of the Lithuanian Basketball League (LKL) and the EuroLeague. He was also a member of the senior Lithuanian national team. Jankūnas played at either center or power forward, with power forward being his main position. Žygimantas Janavičius (born February 20, 1989) is a Lithuanian professional basketball player for Neptūnas Klaipėda of the Lithuanian Basketball League. Giedrius Gustas (born 4 March 1980) is a former Lithuanian professional basketball player. At the height of 1.90 m (6'2 3⁄4") tall and a weight of 86 kg (190 lbs.), he mainly played at the point guard position. During his club playing career, as a member of Žalgiris Kaunas, he won the EuroLeague championship in 1999. As a member of the Barons LMT, he won the Europe Cup championship in 2008. Artūras Gudaitis (born 19 June 1993) is a Lithuanian professional basketball player who last played for Panathinaikos of the Greek Basket League and the EuroLeague. Tomas Dimša (born 2 January 1994) is a Lithuanian professional basketball player for Žalgiris Kaunas of the LKL and the EuroLeague. He mostly plays at the shooting guard position. Vytenis Čižauskas (born September 16, 1992) is a Lithuanian professional basketball player. He plays the point guard position. Career From an early age, Čižauskas played for the Žalgiris youth team. In his second season, he led the team in points and assists; as a consequence, he was promoted to Kaunas Triobet of BBL. In March 2009, he was moved to Žalgiris' main roster; however, the young point guard saw limited playing time in the LKL. Povilas Butkevičius
Povilas Butkevičius (born 26 September 1987) is a Lithuanian former professional basketball player. Professional career From 2004-2005, till 2011-2012, he was part of Lithuanian powerhouse Žalgiris Kaunas. On 17 August 2010 he was loaned to BC Prienai for the season.
