BC Ural Yekaterinburg
Ural Yekaterinburg is a Russian professional basketball team. The team was formed in 1930 and was restored in 2006, having previously played under the names of Uralmash, SKA-Ural, EvrAz and Ural-UPi. The team won the Russian Basketball Super League titles in 2012, 2013 and in 2022. History The team was founded in 1930 as ''Uralmash Sverdlovsk''. In 2001 the club was refunded with the name ''EvrAz''. In the 2005–06 season, EvrAz disappeared, but in 2006 the club was refunded once again. Ural became the new main sponsor and the club was renamed ''Ural-UPi''. A year later the name became ''Ural Yekaterinburg''. In 2012 and 2013, Ural won the Super League, the second Russian division but didn't promote. The Russian Basketball Super League 1, or Super Liga 1, (russian: Баскетбольная Cуперлига 1), formerly known as the Russian Basketball Super League A or the Russian Basketball Super Liga A, is a men's professional basketball league that was the pre-eminent league of Russian professional basketball until 2010. 2013–14 EuroChallenge
The 2013–14 EuroChallenge was the 11th edition of Europe's third-tier level transnational competition for men's professional basketball clubs. The winner and the runner-up of this competition earned a place at the group stage of the 2014–15 Eurocup season. The Final Four was held in PalaDozza in Bologna, Italy. The host of the tournament, Grissin Bon Reggio Emilia won the Final by beating Triumph Lyubertsy 79–65. Italian player Andrea Cinciarini received the Final Four MVP award. Competition format changes This year's EuroChallenge saw a number of innovations, including the division of the participating clubs into two main Conferences for the Regular Season - Conference 1 and Conference 2 - based on a broad geographical criteria. Javonte Edwin Douglas (born November 28, 1992) is an American professional basketball player for Uralmash Yekaterinburg of the Russian Super League 1. He played four years of college basketball at four different colleges before playing professionally in Paraguay, Cyprus, New Zealand, the Czech Republic, and Russia. Anatoly Dmitriyevich Myshkin (born August 14, 1954) is a retired Soviet and Russian professional basketball player and coach. At 6 feet 9 inches (2.07 m) tall, and a weight of 210 lbs. (95 kg), he played as a combo forward (small forward-power forward). Myshkin was able to break up all of the defensive schemes in European basketball, due to his unique skill set.
