BC Andorra
Bàsquet Club Andorra S.A., also known as MoraBanc Andorra for sponsorship reasons, is a professional basketball team that is based in Andorra la Vella, Andorra. Though based in Andorra, the club plays in the Spanish basketball league system. The team plays in the LEB Oro with home games played at the Poliesportiu d'Andorra. From 1992 to 1996, BC Andorra played in the top league, the Liga ACB and also the Korać Cup during the 1995–96 season. After being relegated and playing one season in LEB league, the club resigned to its berth and came back to regional competitions. The club returned to Liga ACB in 2014, 18 years after its last appearance. History On 12 June 1970 the club was founded as Club de Basket Les Escaldes, and changed its name to Bàsquet Club Andorra on 12 April 1971. 2017 ACB Playoffs
The 2017 ACB Playoffs, also known as 2017 Liga Endesa Playoffs for sponsorship reasons, was the postseason tournament of the ACB's 2016–17 season, which began September 30, 2016. The playoffs started on 20 May 2017, and ended on 16 June 2017 with the Finals. Real Madrid was the defending champion, but lost the title to Valencia Basket in the finals, who won its first league ever. Format At the end of the regular season, the eight teams with the most wins qualify for the playoffs. The seedings are based on each team's record. The bracket is fixed; there is no reseeding. The quarterfinals are best-of-three series; the team that has two wins advances to the next round. This round is in a 1–1–1 format. From the semifinals onward, the rounds are best-of-five series; the team that has three wins advances to the next round. These rounds, including the Finals, are in a 2–2–1 format. Andrew Eugene Crawford (born October 18, 1990) is an American professional basketball player for Dolomiti Energia Trento of the Lega Basket Serie A (LBA). He played college basketball for the Northwestern Wildcats. Roberto Dueñas Hernandez (born 1 November 1975) is a retired Spanish professional basketball player. At a height of 7 ft 3 inches tall, he played at the center position. Albert Llovera Massana (born 11 September 1966) is a rally driver and former alpine skier from Andorra. He became the youngest athlete to compete in the Winter Olympics in 1984 at the age of 17. A serious accident in 1985 left him paralysed from the waist down. He has since taken up rallying, using cars with specially adapted hand controls. He is currently competing in the Super 2000 World Rally Championship.
