BCCP Trophy
The President's Trophy is a cricket competition that is held in Pakistan. It was previously held between 1960–61 and 2018–19 but was refounded from the 2023–24 as Hanif Mohammad Trophy. It consists of teams representing the government and semi-government departments, corporations, commercial organisations, business houses, banks, airlines, and educational institutions. Pakistan Cricket Board
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is a sports governing body for cricket in Pakistan responsible for controlling and organising all tours and matches undertaken by the Pakistan national cricket team. A member of the International Cricket Council since 1952, it represents the country's men's and women's national teams in international cricket tournaments played under the ICC. Following the establishment of Pakistan as an independent dominion of the British Empire in 1947, professional and amateur cricket commenced in the same year, seeing as local infrastructure had already been established when the country was part of the British Raj. Rawalpindi was a first-class cricket side that competed in domestic competitions in Pakistan. Rawalpindi's List A and Twenty20 sides were known as the Rawalpindi Rams. The Patron's Trophy was a cricket competition that was held in Pakistan between 1960–61 and 2018–19 mainly among teams representing the government and semi-government departments, corporations, commercial organisations, business houses, banks, airlines, and educational institutions. Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited Cricket Team
The cricket team of Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited was a first-class cricket side that played in the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy, Patron's Trophy and Pentangular Trophy and also competed in Limited overs cricket. In May 2019, Pakistan's Prime Minister Imran Khan revamped the domestic cricket structure in Pakistan, excluding departmental teams in favour of regional sides, therefore ending the participation of the team. 2012–13 President's Trophy
The 2012–13 President's Trophy was one of two first-class cricket competitions that were held in Pakistan during the 2012–13 season, the other being the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy. It was the inaugural edition of the President's Trophy. Ten departmental teams each played nine 4-day matches in a round-robin league phase between 3 October and 7 December 2012, with the top two teams contesting the final on 11–14 January 2013. Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited went undefeated in claiming the title, winning six of their nine group matches and beating Habib Bank Limited in the final. Pakistan Customs Cricket Team
Pakistan Customs cricket team were a first-class cricket side of no fixed abode that played in domestic tournaments in Pakistan from 1972–73 to 2009–10, representing the Pakistan Customs service. They never won the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy, but did win the Patron's Trophy once. They played 122 matches, with 25 wins, 56 losses and 41 draws. Their highest score, and only double century, was 210 not out by Imraan Mohammad against Gujranwala in 1999–2000. Lahore Cricket Teams
Lahore cricket teams, representing the city of Lahore, competed in Pakistan's first-class cricket tournaments from 1958–59 to 2018–19. They have also competed in the national 50-over and Twenty-20 tournaments as the Lahore Lions. Teams From 1953-54, the inaugural season of the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy, until 1957-58, the state of Punjab was represented by the Punjab cricket team (as well as by Punjab A and Punjab B in 1957-58). United Bank Limited Cricket Team
United Bank Limited cricket team was a Pakistani domestic cricket team sponsored by United Bank Limited. The team was founded in 1975, and competed in various domestic competitions as a departmental team, principally in first-class cricket, winning nine championship trophies. Home matches were played at the United Bank Limited Sports Complex in Karachi. UBL withdrew from domestic cricket in Pakistan in 1997 before returning in 2006, and regaining a place in first-class competition in 2011. In July 2018, United Bank Limited disbanded the team, with captain Younis Khan resigning as a result.
