''BBNG2'' is the second studio album from Canadian music group BADBADNOTGOOD. It was made available on the band's website as a free download in various formats. The album is a mixture of original compositions and covers of Earl Sweatshirt (track 1), Feist (track 4), Tyler, The Creator and Gucci Mane (track 5), James Blake (tracks 4 and 9), Kanye West (track 10), and My Bloody Valentine (track 11). It received generally very positive reviews. Production and release Following their prolific first year as a band, which saw the release of the viral ''Odd Future Sessions'', an EP, two live albums, and their debut album '' BBNG'', the group self-released their sophomore album on April 3, 2012. ''BBNGLive 1'' and ''BBNGLive 2'' (stylized in all caps) are a pair of albums released by BadBadNotGood in 2011 and 2012, respectively. The albums were released at regular intervals between the band's debut and second studio albums. Both albums were self-released as free downloads and helped build buzz for the band during their inaugural year. The band's next live record would be their ''Spotify Live EP'', released by Innovative Leisure in 2017. Recording and release ''BBNGLive 1'' was recorded at one of the band's first shows, a 2011 club date in Toronto. Most of the tracks performed also appear on one of the band's earlier releases. Exceptions include the "DOOM" medley, which was released as a standalone single later in 2011, and the Joy Division cover "Division." ''BBNG'' is the debut album from Canadian jazz instrumental hip hop band BADBADNOTGOOD. It was released as a free download in 2011. The album features a mixture of original compositions and covers of songs from the artists Flying Lotus, Gang Starr, J Dilla, Joy Division, Nas and Ol' Dirty Bastard. The cover artwork was designed and made by Connor Olthuis and Sam Zaret. Release and reception After putting out a series of covers, as well as the original track "Salmonella," in mid-2011, the band released their debut album ''BBNG'' for free on their Bandcamp page in September 2011. Stephen Ellis Garrett (November 11, 1974 – February 25, 2008), known professionally as Static Major (and previously as Static), was an American singer, songwriter, and record producer from Louisville, Kentucky. ''CMYK'' is the second solo extended play by London-based Independent music, indie record producer, producer James Blake (musician), James Blake. It was released in both the United Kingdom and the United States on R&S Records on 28 May 2010. It music sample, samples many tracks, mostly from 1990s Contemporary R&B, R&B.
