BAR 004
The BAR 004 was the car with which the British American Racing Formula One team competed in the 2002 Formula One season. It was driven by the 1997 World Champion Jacques Villeneuve, and French racer Olivier Panis. Season The BAR 004 was launched on 18 December, 2001 at the teams headquarters in Brackley. The day after brand new team, Toyota. The car featured dominant sponsorship from British American Tobacco brand, Lucky Strike, once again alongside Tiscali and Sonax. The launch event also confirmed new team boss David Richards taking over from Craig Pollock, and his Prodrive business taking on management of the team. Reynard
Reynard the Fox is a literary cycle of medieval allegorical Dutch, English, French and German fables. The first extant versions of the cycle date from the second half of the 12th century. The genre was popular throughout the Late Middle Ages, as well as in chapbook form throughout the Early Modern period. The stories are largely concerned with the main character Reynard, an anthropomorphic red fox, trickster figure. His adventures usually involve his deceiving other anthropomorphic animals for his own advantage or trying to avoid their retaliatory efforts. Craig Pollock (born February 20, 1956) is a British businessman. He was the manager of 1997 World Champion Formula One driver Jacques Villeneuve throughout his top-level career. Pollock was the founder of the British American Racing Formula One team, and served as its CEO and team principal from to . David Richards (motorsport)
David Pender Richards (born 3 June 1952) is the chairman of Prodrive, chairman of Motorsport UK (The Royal Automobile Club Motor Sports Association Ltd), former chairman of Aston Martin, a former team principal of the BAR and Benetton Formula One motor racing teams and as a co-driver, World Rally Champion in 1981. The 1997 FIA Formula One World Championship was the 51st season of FIA Formula One motor racing. It commenced on 9 March and ended on 26 October after seventeen races. The Drivers' Championship was won by Jacques Villeneuve and the Constructors' Championship was awarded to Williams-Renault.
