Bà Rịa
Bà Rịa () is a city in Bà Rịa–Vũng Tàu province in the Southeast region of Vietnam. Bà Rịa is split from Vũng Tàu by a river crossed by Cỏ May Bridge. This is the ''de jure'' seat of the province since most of the provincial administration agencies are located here. Bà Rịa officially became the provincial capital of Bà Rịa–Vũng Tàu from 2 May 2012, replacing Vũng Tàu in that role. Location Bà Rịa is located 90 km east southeast of Ho Chi Minh City and 20 km northwest of the petroleum city of Vũng Tàu. Bà Rịa borders Châu Đức District and part of Tân Thành District to the north, Vũng Tàu to the south, Long Điền District to the east, and Tân Thành District to the west. Provincial city ( vi, Thành phố thuộc tỉnh), commonly known as City, a type of second tier subdivision of Vietnam is divided into 713 units along with urban district, district, municipal city, and town have equal status. Also by virtue of Decree No. 42/2009/ND-CP, city are officially classified into Class-1, Class-2 or Class-3. The cities can only subordinate to Province as the Second Tier unit. Long Thành International Airport
Long Thanh International Airport ( vi, Sân bay Quốc tế Long Thành) is an international airport currently under construction in Long Thanh, Dong Nai, Vietnam. Located approximately east of Ho Chi Minh City, the Vietnamese government approved its construction on January 4, 2021. Construction began the next day on January 5, 2021, and it will be finished by 2025. The airport will serve over 100 million passengers annually when built to the maximum designed capacity. The project is the most expensive infrastructure project in Vietnam's history. It will replace the existing Tan Son Nhat International Airport as the city's main airport.
