''Busted'' is a compilation album by British pop punk band Busted, released in the United States in October 2004. Ten of the twelve tracks had been released as singles in the United Kingdom, with "Falling for You" being included with the intention of its being released as the group's first single in the United States, and "Teenage Kicks" being included due to its popularity amongst British fans. The song is a cover of The Undertones' classic, first issued as the B-side of "Who's David". This could allow the album to be viewed as the band's greatest hits. Busted are an English pop punk band from Southend-on-Sea, Essex, consisting of James Bourne, Matt Willis and Charlie Simpson. Formed in 2000, the band had four UK number-one singles, won two Brit awards, released four studio albums and sold over 5 million records. The band released '' Busted'' in 2002 and ''A Present for Everyone'' in 2003 before disbanding in January 2005. Following the split, all three members pursued separate musical careers: Simpson as the frontman for the post-hardcore band Fightstar, Bourne as the lead singer of pop punk band Son of Dork and Willis as a solo artist. The band reunited in 2016 and have stayed together since. According to the British Phonographic Industry (BPI), Busted have been certified for 2.4 million albums and 1.8 million singles in the UK. "Air Hostess" is a song by English pop punk band Busted. Composed by the band along with Tom Fletcher of McFly and Stewart Henderson, it was released on 26 April 2004 as the third single from their second studio album, ''A Present for Everyone'' (2003), and reached number two on the UK Singles Chart. Background and promotion The song was inspired by flight attendants which Busted saw whilst on tour. The B-sides "Mummy Trade", "Peaches" and "Let It Go" did not appear on any other release, and were exclusive to this single. "Year 3000" reached number two on the UK Singles Chart and became the 34th-biggest seller of the year with 165,000 units. Lauren Christy is a British singer, songwriter and record producer. Originally a solo artist, she found success as part of the writing production trio The Matrix. The Matrix is an American-British songwriting and record production team, consisting of Lauren Christy, Scott Spock, and Graham Edwards. Mathew James Willis (born 8 May 1983), also previously known as Mattie Jay, is an English musician, singer, songwriter, television personality and actor.
