Busan International Comedy Festival
The Busan International Comedy Festival (BICF) () is an annual comedy festival and cultural event held in Busan, South Korea. Since its establishment in 2013, the festival takes place for four days in late August to early September every year. The BICF includes comedic performances and acts from around the world, featuring sketch shows and stand-up acts. The festival has since grown from its 2013 debut; South Korean teams such as KBS's ''Gag Concert'', SBS's ''Searching for Laughs'' and tvN's ''Comedy Big League'' are joined by a variety of teams from many different countries, such as the United Kingdom, South Africa, Japan and Italy. The festival is the largest international comedy festival in Asia and the first in South Korea. Haeundae Beach
Haeundae Beach（）is an urban beach in Busan, South Korea. Often dubbed one of the country's most famous and popular beaches, it is located in the eponymous Haeundae District. The beach is open year-round, and various festivals are held there throughout the year. A popular beach event, "Polar Bear Club", during which participants bathe in near freezing water, has been held annually since 1988 in January. Korea New Network (KNN) () is the biggest regional free-to-air commercial broadcasting station based in Centum City, a high-tech media development complex within Haeundae in Busan, South Korea. KNN is affiliated with SBS. It was originally founded in April 1994 as Pusan Broadcasting Corporation (PSB) (). It had first begun its demo transmissions upon its establishment in April, and later on September 7 the same year it had begun its test transmissions, and then commenced its official broadcasts on May 14, 1995. Jang Dong-min (; born July 20, 1979), is a South Korean comedian. He is known as ‘comedian who curses a lot’, (his comedy style is mainly on yelling and cursing). He is part of Gag Concert's 19th class (class of 2004), together with Yoo Se-yoon and Yoo Sang-moo. He is part of 옹달샘 (''Ongdalsaem)'' a trio with them. The Korean Republic won, unofficially the South Korean won ( Symbol: ₩; Code: KRW; Korean: 대한민국 원) is the official currency of South Korea. A single won is divided into 100 jeon, the monetary subunit. The jeon is no longer used for everyday transactions, and it appears only in foreign exchange rates.
