Burlap To Cashmere
Burlap to Cashmere is a NYC band formed in the 1990s by original Band members Steven Delopoulos, John Philippidis, Theodore Pagano, Michael Ernest, and Roby Guarnera. Their style is often referred to as world music, ethnic folk, or multi genre. Appealing to both adults and adolescent fans alike, it has been described as “timeless music, drawing heavily on folk and world genres from varying cultures such as European, Greek, Mediterranean, Middle Eastern, and Afro Cuban/Latino styles”, set against a theatrical back drop of singer song writer music, rooted in 1960s and 1970s classic American folk. Marymount Manhattan College is a private college on the Upper East Side of New York City. As of 2020, enrollment consists of 1,571 undergraduates with women making up 80.1% and men 19.9% of student enrollment. The college was founded in 1936. The Bitter End
The Bitter End is a 230-person capacity nightclub, coffeehouse and folk music venue in New York City's Greenwich Village. It opened in 1961 at 147 Bleecker Street under the auspices of owner Fred Weintraub. The club changed its name to ''The Other End'' in June 1975. However, after a few years the owners changed the club's name back to the more recognizable The Bitter End. It remains open under new ownership.
