Writing Process Recording took place at Bridge Street Studios and Dark Horse Recording in Nashville by Kearney's producer and friend Robert Marvin. Mathew William Kearney (; born December 1, 1978) is an American musician born in Eugene, Oregon, and based in Nashville, Tennessee. So far, he has a total of five top 20 hits on the Adult Top 40 Chart. ''Just Kids'' was released on February 24, 2015. The album's first single, "Heartbeat", was released on November 4, 2014. ''Crazytalk'' was released on May 4, 2018. Biography Early life Kearney was born on December 1, 1978 and raised in Eugene, Oregon, with his two brothers. At South Eugene High School, Kearney was a soccer player. Inpop Records is an independent contemporary Christian music record label based in Nashville, Tennessee, U.S. It was launched in July 1999 by Australians Peter Furler, Dale Bray, and Wes Campbell. The name was derived from the idea of wanting to highlight the talents of ''in''ternational ''pop'' artists, though they have signed an equal number of American artists. ''Nothing Left to Lose'' is the second studio album and major-label debut by Mat Kearney. Several tracks are re-recordings or remixes of songs originally featured on Kearney's first album, '' Bullet''. "All I Need", "Crashing Down", and "Where We Gonna Go From Here" were all featured in season 3 episodes of the hit TV series ''Grey's Anatomy''. "Breathe In, Breathe Out" is also being used as the current Grey's Anatomy song with a music video featuring Mat and clips from seasons 3 and 4 of the show. The track "Nothing Left to Lose" was used in a commercial promoting the 2007 film, ''Catch and Release'', and was also used on an episode of the TV series '' Jericho'' and ''Dirty Sexy Money''.
