Building And Development Party
The Building and Development Party ( ar-at, حزب البناء والتنمية, Hizb el-Benaa wa el-Tanmia, alternatively translated as ''Construction and Development Party'') is an Islamist political party in Egypt. Initiated by the al-Gama'a al-Islamiyya (''"Islamic Group"''), it is seen as the political wing of the movement. The party was established on 20 June 2011, following the 2011 Egyptian revolution, and officially endorsed by the Supreme Administrative Court on 10 October 2011. The Building and Development Party has participated in the 2011–12 Egyptian parliamentary election as part of the Alliance for Egypt (dubbed as the "Islamist Bloc"), led by the Salafist Al-Nour Party. The possible dissolution of the party is being investigated by the Political Parties Affairs Committee. Tarek Al-Zumar
Tarek al-Zumar is an Egyptian Islamist politician and the secretary-general of the Building and Development Party. The party has a non-political wing named al-Gama'a al-Islamiyya. Al-Zumar was a member of Egyptian Islamic Jihad. His cousin is Aboud El Zomor, who was imprisoned along with him. Al-Zumar was imprisoned in 1984 following the assassination of Anwar Sadat, assassination of Anwar Sadat and was released during the Egyptian Revolution of 2011. Al-Zumar and his cousin received a hero's welcome when they were released from prison before things turned. On 14 July 2013 Egypt's prosecutor general Hisham Barakat ordered his assets to be frozen. Egyptian parliamentary elections to the House of Representatives were held in two phases, from 17 October to 2 December 2015. The elected parliament will be entrusted with the task of reviewing the laws that were passed while a parliament was not in session. The Anti-Coup Alliance (also known as the National Alliance Supporting Legitimacy) is a coalition in Egypt formed to reverse the ouster of former president Mohamed Morsi. 2013 Egyptian Coup D'état
The 2013 Egyptian coup d'etat took place on 3 July 2013. Egyptian army chief General Abdel Fattah al-Sisi led a coalition to remove the democratically elected President of Egypt, Mohamed Morsi, from power and suspended the Egyptian constitution of 2012. The move came after the military's ultimatum for the government to "resolve its differences" with protesters during widespread national protests. The military arrested Morsi and Muslim Brotherhood leaders, and declared Chief Justice of the Supreme Constitutional Court Adly Mansour as the interim president of Egypt.
