The Buchanan family is a long-running family of fictional characters on the American soap opera ''One Life to Live''. The ensemble was originally inspired by the Ewing family on the primetime soap opera ''Dallas'', and appeared from September 1979 through the end of the serial in August 2013. Matthew Buchanan
Matthew Buchanan is a fictional character on the American soap opera ''One Life to Live''. Born onscreen in 1999, the character was rapidly aged in 2001 with the casting of Eddie Alderson, re-establishing his birth year as 1994. Alderson stayed with the series until the ABC Daytime finale in 2012. Upon resuming as a web series via The Online Network, Robert Gorrie was cast in the role and debuted April 29, 2013, ultimately revising his birth year to 1992. Matthew is the only child of Bo Buchanan and Nora Hanen, as well as the grandson of Asa Buchanan. Mark Derwin
Mark Derwin (born October 28, 1960) is an American film and television actor. Derwin began his career on ''Days of Our Lives'' in 1987 with a minor role as Jeremiah Brown. In 1988, Derwin appeared in the role of Adrian Hunter on ''The Young and the Restless''. Derwin was featured in a high-profile storyline: the elaborate George Rawlins murder mystery as the scheming psychotic serial killer. Derwin is also known for numerous other soap opera roles. Ben Davidson (One Life To Live)
Ben Davidson is a fictional character on the American soap opera ''One Life to Live''. He was portrayed by actor Mark Derwin from February 1999 to August 2002, and briefly in February 2004 and July 2008. Ben is best remembered as the sixth husband of town heroine Victoria Lord, who carried the name "Victoria Lord Davidson" for nine years. David Gautreaux (born June 28, 1951) is an American stage, television and film actor, perhaps best known for work he never did – the role of Vulcan science officer Xon in the proposed ''Star Trek: Phase II'' television series. Clinton Charles Augustus Ritchie (August 9, 1938 – January 31, 2009) was an American actor. Early life Ritchie was born on a farm near Grafton, North Dakota, to J. C. and Charlotte Ritchie, and his family moved to Washington state when he was seven.
