Brujeria () is an American extreme metal band formed in Los Angeles, California in 1989. The band has Spanish lyrics with topics such as Theistic Satanism, Satanism, Anti-Christian sentiment, anti-Christianity, sex, immigration, narcotics smuggling, and politics. Brujeria portrays Mexico, Mexican imagery, with several members being Hispanic and Latino Americans, while the band's name stands for ''brujería'' (Spanish for "witchcraft"). Brujeria alumni include Fear Factory guitarist Dino Cazares and drummer Raymond Herrera, as well as Billy Gould, Nicholas Barker, Jeff Walker (musician), Jeff Walker and Shane Embury. They perform under pseudonyms and portray themselves as a Latino band consisting of drug lords, concealing their identities due to being wanted by the FBI. ''Peligro'' ( en, Danger, italic=yes) is the second studio album by Colombian singer-songwriter Shakira, released on 25 March 1993, by Sony Music Colombia. Background Author Ximena Diego wrote that "the first fifteen years of Shakira's life gave her a taste of how sweet stardom could be";Diego, Ximena (2002). p. 42. She was signed to Sony Music Colombia at the age of 13, with the deal being to record three albums, which were ''Magia'', ''Peligro'' and '' Pies Descalzos''.
