The team competes in the NCAA Division III and are members of the Empire 8. The team plays its home games at the 10,000 seat Eunice Kennedy Shriver Stadium in Brockport, New York. The Golden Eagles are coached by Jason Mangone. Brockport participates yearly in the Courage Bowl. Jason Mangone is an American football coach. He is the head football coach at SUNY Brockport, a position he has held since 2013. Mangone played college football as a quarterback, first at Alfred University in Alfred, New York, before transferring to Brockport. He became an assistant coach at Brockport in 1999 and was promoted to offensive coordinator in 2004. The 2001 NCAA Division III football season, part of the college football season organized by the NCAA at the Division III level in the United States, began in August 2001, and concluded with the NCAA Division III Football Championship, also known as the Stagg Bowl, in December 2001 at Salem Football Stadium in Salem, Virginia. Bob Casullo (born March 21, 1951) is a former NFL and college coach who most recently coached for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, having started his NFL career in 2000 coaching Special Teams for the Raiders.
