The Broadcast Company of the Americas, traded as BCA Radio was a broadcasting company based in the San Diego, California area. BCA Radio no longer operates any radio stations after losing its operational leases. The Viejas Band of Kumeyaay Indians, which owns and operates Viejas Casino, owned 50% of BCA."Viejas Enterprises."

In North American broadcasting, a local marketing agreement (LMA), or local management agreement, is a contract in which one company agrees to operate a radio or television station owned by another party. In essence, it is a sort of lease or time-buy. Under Federal Communications Commission (FCC) regulations, a local marketing agreement must give the company operating the station (the "senior" partner) under the agreement control over the entire facilities of the station, including the finances, personnel and programming of the station. Its original licensee (the "junior" partner) still remains legally responsible for the station and its operations, such as compliance with relevant regulations regarding content. John Lynch (radio)
John Lynch was the president and CEO of the Broadcast Company of the Americas. Early life John Lynch grew up in suburban Chicago in an Irish-Catholic family. His grandparents were Irish immigrants. His grandparents named their son (Lynch's father) John Pershing Lynch, after the World War I general of the same name. Lynch graduated from Benet Academy in 1960, and went on to major in broadcasting at Drake University, where he also played football as linebacker and tight end. He was drafted right out of college to play linebacker for the Pittsburgh Steelers in 1969. A knee injury in the first few weeks of the season immediately ended his football career after one season, however. The Viejas (Baron Long) Group of Capitan Grande Band of Mission Indians of the Viejas Reservation, also called the Viejas Band of Kumeyaay Indians, is a federally recognized tribe of Kumeyaay Indians. Reservations In 1875, the Viejas Band shared the Capitan Grande Reservation along with the Barona Group of Capitan Grande Band of Mission Indians, which consisted of lands in and around the present day El Capitan Reservoir. The El Capitan Reservoir, forcibly purchased from the two tribes to provide water for San Diego, submerged what habitable land existed on the reservation. Viejas Casino and Resort is a hotel casino and outlet center owned by the Viejas Band of Kumeyaay Indians, located in Alpine, California. Kumeyaay
The Kumeyaay, also known as Tipai-Ipai or by their historical Spanish name Diegueño, is a tribe of Indigenous peoples of the Americas who live at the northern border of Baja California in Mexico and the southern border of California in the United States. Their Kumeyaay language belongs to the Yuman–Cochimí language family. The Kumeyaay consist of three related groups, the Ipai, Tipai and Kamia. The San Diego River loosely divided the Ipai and the Tipai historical homelands, while the Kamia lived in the eastern desert areas.
