Bro'Sis Songs
Bro'Sis was a multicultural R&B/ pop group from Germany, which was formed through the TV series ''Popstars – Du bist mein Traum'' in 2001. The group comprised the singers Ross Antony, Hila Bronstein, Shaham Joyce, Faiz Mangat, Indira Weis, and Giovanni Zarrella. The sextet achieved major success with hit singles " I Believe", " Do You", "Heaven Must Be Missing an Angel", "Hot Temptation", and their first album ''Never Forget (Where You Come From)'' (2002). Weis's departure from the group preceded the release of their second studio album, ''Days of Our Lives'' (2002), which contains singles " Oh No"/" Never Stop" and " V.I.P." In 2004, the remaining members released their third and final album, ''Showtime''. Commercially less successful, it led to their departure from Cheyenne Records and internal conflicts within the group. "Oh No" is a song by German pop group Bro'Sis. It was written by Marc Mozart and Andy Love and produced by the former along with John Eaton for the band's second studio album ''Days of Our Lives'' (2003). Released as the album's lead single on 7 April 2003 on double A-side with their German Football Association hymn " Never Stop", the latin pop-influenced uptempo track became the group's sixth and final top ten entry on the German Singles Chart, peaking at number seven. "Daylight in Your Eyes" is the debut single by German girl group No Angels. It was written by Tony Bruno and Tommy Byrnes and initially recorded by American rock band New Life Crisis. A Tony Moran-produced remix of their version appeared on the ''MTV Party to Go Remixed'' compilation album (2001), but as their record company, Tommy Boy Entertainment, folded soon after, the group's original recording failed to receive a wider release, and the song was eventually sold separately abroad. There, "Daylight in Your Eyes" was purchased by Epic Records and re-recorded by the singer Victoria Faiella for her debut album with the label. Detlef Soost (born 2 July 1970), also using the name D! (formerly ''Dee!''), most often called Detlef D! Soost, is a German television personality, dancer and choreographer who gained recognition as one of the jury members of the German talent show ''Popstars''. Early life Soost was born East Berlin, East Germany, and grew up in an orphanage. His mother, who died very early, was a German, and his father came to East Germany from Ghana. According to the biography on his homepage, Soost became streetdance champion of East Berlin when he was 15 years old, and champion of East Germany when he was 16, but some critics point out that, based on his date of birth given in the same biography, this appears very unrealistic, as streetdance was not accepted in East Germany and no "official" battles could be held in which Soost could have won a title.
