British Tag Team Championship
The British (Open) Tag Team Championship is the top tag team championship contested for throughout the British wrestling circuit. For many years contested for in Brian Dixon's All Star Wrestling. It has recently been revived by Stephen Barker's Rumble Wrestling Promotions. Although the title was created just after the end of regular wrestling coverage on ITV, nonetheless it has changed hands on national UK television, as footage of Steve Prince and Vic Powers' victory over Liverpool Lads Robbie Brookside and Doc Dean was included on Brookside's episode of ''Video Diaries'' on BBC2 in 1994. All Star Wrestling
All Star Wrestling (ASW), also known as Super Slam Wrestling (SSW), is a British professional wrestling promotion founded by Brian Dixon in 1970 and based in Birkenhead, England. Founded as Wrestling Enterprises of Birkenhead in October 1970, it has also been known over the years as All Star Promotions and Big Time Wrestling. ASW tours theatres, leisure centres, town halls, holiday camps, and similar venues, many of which are the same locations that were used for televised wrestling in the UK from the 1950s to the 1980s. ASW is the oldest active wrestling promotion in the UK and the longest-running British promotion in history, a record it has held since September 2013 when it eclipsed the 42 years and 11 months tenure of Joint Promotions (1952–1995). Kid McCoy (wrestler)
Charles "Kid" McCoy (October 13, 1872 – April 18, 1940), born Norman Selby, was an American boxer and early Hollywood actor. He claimed the vacant world middleweight title when he scored an upset victory over Tommy Ryan by 15th-round knockout. Overview Born in Moscow, Rush County, Indiana, McCoy would eventually weigh , stand , and go on to a record 81 wins (55 by KO, with 6 losses, 9 no decision, and 6 disqualifications). McCoy was noted for his "corkscrew punch" – a blow delivered with a twisting of the wrist. According to McCoy, he learned the punch one evening while resting in someone's barn after a day of riding the rails. He was of Scottish and English ancestry. Robbie Dynamite
Robbie Dynamite (born Robert Berzins) is a British Professional wrestling, professional wrestler. He is the current and five-time British Mid-Heavyweight Championship, British Mid-Heavyweight champion and has also held the British Open Tag Team Championship and Unified British Tag Team Championship with Mikey Whiplash. He had a one day reign with the British Heavyweight Championship in August 2016. Dean Allmark
Dean Allmark (born 25 August 1983) is an English professional wrestling trainer and retired professional wrestler. He has worked for promotions including All Star Wrestling, Total Nonstop Action Wrestling, and Pro Wrestling Live (PWL). He often goes by the nicknames "Xtreme" or "2-Xtreme" and was one half of the UK Dream Team with Kid Cool. Early life Allmark was born in Stoke-on-Trent on 25 August 1983. Roy Bevis (born 25 February 1981) is an English professional wrestler. He mainly competes under the ring name Roy Knight in World Association of Wrestling, which is owned and operated by his family.
