Félix Brillant
Félix Brillant (born September 9, 1980 in Brossard, Quebec) is a Canadian former soccer player. Career Youth and Amateur Brillant began his career in the youth system of French team AS Cannes, but never appeared for the senior side. He returned to North America in 2002, and played college soccer for at Franklin Pierce College in the NCAA Division II, where he was named All-New England Region four times. In 2002 and 2003 he also played for Cape Cod Crusaders in the USL Premier Development League, with whom he won back-to-back PDL championships. Professional Brillant was drafted 56th overall by the New England Revolution in the 2004 MLS Superdraft and scored a goal in the 2004 season for the Revs, but was released in June 2005 without making an appearance that season. Dany Brillant
Dany Brillant (; né Daniel Cohen-Biran, 28 December 1965 in Tunis), is a French singer of a Jewish- Tunisian origin. Born in Tunis, his parents immigrated to France while he was a newborn infant. They settled in Sainte-Geneviève-des-Bois near Paris. His uncle Nathan, was a famous luth player and interpreter of oriental music. At age 12, Dany Brilliant's family moved to Paris and at 14 his grandfather gave him a guitar. He started performing at various events, including important debut at cabaret "Aux Trois Maillets" where he got his artistic name. His adopted name Brillant comes after Jacques Boni, the owner of the cabaret invited him to stage by saying: "Dany! Sois brillant!" (Dany! be brilliant!). Edmond Wilhelm Brillant Halevi ( he, אדמונד וילהלם ברילנט; 1916–2004) was a Polish-born Israeli naval architect and one of the founding fathers of the Israeli navy. Biography Edmond Wilhelm Brillant was born in Jaroslaw Galicia, Poland, and was the youngest of the four sons of the pharmacist Wiktor Brillant and his wife Laura Brillant (née Sturmlauf). Brillant was a flight amateur and joined the gliding club of Jaroslaw at the age of 13. He studied building gliders, aircraft, gliding and flight there. Val-Brillant is a municipality in eastern Quebec, Canada, at the base of the Gaspé peninsula. On the southern shores of the Lake Matapedia, Val-Brillant is part of the Matapédia Valley. HMS ''Genoa'' was a 74-gun ship of the line laid down for the French Navy as ''Brillant'' which the British captured incomplete while still on slip at the fall of Genoa in 1814. She was completed for the Royal Navy and served as HMS ''Genoa'' until 1838. On 20 October 1827 ''Genoa'' took part in the Battle of Navarino where her captain Walter Bathurst was killed. Voigtländer Brillant
The Voigtländer Brillant is a range of pseudo- TLR cameras, and later true TLR cameras, taking 6 × 6 cm exposures on 120 film, made by Voigtländer from 1932. Famed Hungarian-Dutch photographer Eva Besnyö used a Brillant for her early work. Introduction The first Voigtländer Brillant was released in 1932. This early model resembles a TLR but it is functionally closer to a box camera, since it cannot be focused in the viewfinder. It uses 'zone-focusing' for which one has to estimate the distance to the subject. To assist this estimate, three situations are marked around the taking lens: Porträt, Gruppe and Landschaft (i. e.
