Brian Richard William Brotherton Howard (born 23 January 1983) is an English association football, footballer who last played as a midfielder for Whitehawk F.C., Whitehawk. He made more than 300 appearances in the Football League, and also played for Bulgarian club PFC CSKA Sofia, CSKA Sofia. Internationally, he represented England from England national under-16 football team, under-16 to England national under-20 football team, under-20 level. Club career Southampton and Swindon Town Howard started his career as a trainee with Premier League club Southampton F.C., Southampton, but he was released in 2003 without making a first-team appearance. CSKA Sofia ( bg, ЦСКА София) is a Bulgarian professional association football club based in Sofia and currently competing in the country's premier football competition, the First League.
