Brian Graham (rugby League)
Brian Robert Graham (born 1936) is an Australian former professional rugby league footballer who played in the 1950s and 1960s. A New South Wales representative goal-kicking , he played club football in the NSWRFL Premiership for Sydney's St. George (with whom he won 5 consecutive grand finals) and Newtown. Career St. George Originally from Grafton, New South Wales, Graham started playing first grade for the St. George club in the 1955 NSWRFL season. The following season the club won the first of what would become a record eleven consecutive premierships, but Graham did not play first grade. However, at the end of the 1957 NSWRFL season St. George had again reached the grand final and Graham played at fullback in their 31–9 victory over Manly-Warringah. He also played for Saints and fullback in the 1958 NSWRFL season's grand final victory over Western Suburbs. Sydney Roosters
The Sydney Roosters are an Australian professional Rugby league, Rugby League Football Club based in the Eastern Suburbs (Sydney) and parts of inner Sydney. The club competes in the National Rugby League (NRL) competition. The Roosters have won fifteen New South Wales Rugby League premiership, New South Wales Rugby League (NSWRL) and National Rugby League titles, and several other competitions. Philip Graham (rugby League)
Philip Graham (born 1959) is an Australian former professional rugby league footballer who played in the 1970s. Career Graham was a member of the Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks President's Cup side in 1977, but a desire to play for the St. George Dragons saw him graded at the Dragons in 1979. As a 19-year-old, he made his first grade debut on 29 July 1979 after being plucked from the Under 23's by coach Harry Bath. Phil Graham had four seasons at the Dragons before retiring at the end of 1982. Paul Quinn (28 March 1938 – 19 June 2015) was an Australian rugby league footballer who played in the 1960s. An Australia national rugby league team, Australian international and New South Wales rugby league team, New South Wales interstate representative forward, he played club football on the New South Wales South Coast as well in Sydney's NSWRFL Premiership with Newtown Jets, Newtown. Gerringong Lions, Gerringong forward Quinn first played representative rugby league for Southern Division against a touring Great Britain national rugby league team, Great Britain side in 1962, breaking into the Country New South Wales rugby league team, Country NSW and New South Wales rugby league team, New South Wales sides the following year. The 1967 New South Wales Rugby Football League premiership was the 60th season of Sydney's professional rugby league football competition, Australia's first. The introduction of the Cronulla-Sutherland and Penrith clubs saw a total of twelve teams from across the Sydney area compete for the J.J. Giltinan Shield and WD & HO Wills Cup during the season, which culminated in a grand final between South Sydney and Canterbury-Bankstown. This was also the first live televised broadcast of a football grand final of any code in Australia. Season summary The 1967 season was the first played under the limited tackle rule, replacing the previous era (since the code's 1908 inception) of unlimited tackles. The 1965 New South Wales Rugby Football League premiership was the 58th season of the rugby league competition based in Sydney. Ten clubs from across the city competed for the J.J. Giltinan Shield and the WD & HO Wills Cup during the season, which culminated in a grand final between St. George and South Sydney.
