Brian Cole (bass Guitarist)
Brian Leslie Cole (September 8, 1942 – August 2, 1972) was the bass guitarist, bass vocalist and one of the founding members of the 1960s folk rock band the Association. Biography Brian was born in Tacoma, Washington to Perry Anthony Cole and Violet Elanor Cole. Before working as a musician, he was an Actor and Comedian. In 1966, he co-founded the Folk rock band The Association. Brian rarely sang lead, most notably singing lead on their song Reputation, featured on their 1967 album Insight Out. Cole became a heavy drug addict in his final years and died in Los Angeles of a heroin overdose at the age of 29, a few weeks before his 30th birthday. He has three sons, Jordan, Chandler, and Brant. Jordan Cole is now a member of the Association, and has provided keyboards, guitar, vocals and drums since 1999. Brant Cole is a drummer for the Los Angeles-based band Briana and the Fates. Brian Lee Cole (born December 7, 1967) is an American prelate of the Episcopal Church who is the current Bishop of East Tennessee. Education Cole was born in Hayti, Missouri, and was educated at Murray State University, from which he graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration in 1989. He spent time employed with the Appalachian Ministries Educational Resource Center in Berea, Kentucky. In 1992, he earned a Master of Divinity degree from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. In 2001, he completed studies at Sewanee: The University of the South, where he focused on Anglican church history. He also undertook further studies in art and prayer at the General Theological Seminary in 2006 and in liturgics in Asheville, North Carolina, between 2002 and 2005. Brian Cole (baseball)
Brian Keith Cole (September 28, 1978 – March 31, 2001) was a professional baseball outfielder. Cole played in Minor League Baseball for the New York Mets organization from 1998 to 2000, becoming one of the top prospects in baseball. He died in a car accident at the age of 22 in 2001. Career Cole was born in Meridian, Mississippi and attended Meridian High School. He played both baseball and American football, scoring a school record 22 touchdowns in his senior year. He received numerous offers to play college football from Division I schools, but decided to pursue a career in baseball. The Detroit Tigers selected Cole in the 36th round of the 1997 Major League Baseball Draft, but he declined the Tigers $5,000 offer and instead attended Navarro College. In his lone season at Navarro he hit .524 with 27 home runs, 82 runs batted in (RBI), 95 runs scored and 49 stolen bases in 60 games.
