Brendan Moore (snooker Referee)
Brendan Moore (born 17 February 1972, in Sheffield) is an English former professional snooker referee. Career Moore first refereed on the World Snooker Tour in 2005. Moore took charge of three World Snooker Championship finals, in 2014, 2018, and 2023. He was also the referee in the 2010 and 2013 UK Championship finals, as well as the 2012, 2015 and 2020 Masters finals. Moore has been in charge of ten tournament matches that have contained maximum breaks. The last before his retirement was at the 2023 World Snooker Championship final. He was also the referee featured in the video game Snooker 19. Following the 2023 World Snooker Championship final, Moore retired from snooker to become tournament director for Matchroom Pool. Brendan Albert Moore (born April 16, 1992) is an American soccer player. Moore is also a distinguished amateur tennis player. In December 2022, Moore captained his ALTA team to a C-4 Men's division title. Youth and college Youth and college Moore attended Centennial High School in Georgia, where he help lead the team to the AAAAA state championship match in 2009. Moore played college soccer at University of North Carolina from 2010 to 2014. Professional career From 2015 through 2017, Moore spent time with Fleetwood Town and Torquay United in the English league system. Rochdale In July 2017, Moore moved to EFL League One club Rochdale. The 2015 Masters (officially the 2015 Dafabet Masters) was a professional non-ranking snooker tournament that took place between 11 and 18 January 2015 at the Alexandra Palace in London, England. It was the 41st staging of the Masters tournament. Shaun Murphy won his first Masters title, beating Neil Robertson 10–2 in the final, the biggest winning margin in a Masters final since Steve Davis whitewashed Mike Hallett 9–0 in 1988. A maximum break (also known as a maximum, a 147, or orally, a one-four-seven) is the highest possible in a single of snooker.
