"Brasil" is a pop-rock song written and performed by Cazuza, recorded as the sixth track in his third solo album '' Ideologia'' (1988). "Aquarela do Brasil" (, 'Watercolor of Brazil'), written by Ary Barroso in 1939 and known in the English-speaking world simply as "Brazil", is one of the most famous Brazilian songs. Background and composition Ary Barroso wrote "Aquarela do Brasil" in early 1939, when he was prevented from leaving his home one rainy night due to a heavy storm. Jeitinho (, literally "little way") is a Portuguese word to describe a method of finding a way to accomplish something by circumventing or bending the rules or transgressing social conventions. Ary de Resende Barroso (1903–1964), better known as Ary Barroso, was a Brazilian composer, pianist, soccer commentator, and talent-show host on radio and TV. Cássia Rejane Eller (Portuguese: /ˈkasjɐ ʁeˈʒɐni ˈɛleʁ/) (December 10, 1962 – December 29, 2001) was a Brazilian singer and musician. ''Acústico MTV'' is a musical television program originally aired by MTV Brasil, inspired by the series '' MTV Unplugged'', an American program created in 1989 where bands and artists play their music in an acoustic version, that is, with acoustic and non-electric instruments. ''A Different Story'' is the debut studio album by Brazilian singer Deborah Blando, released on November 19, 1991, by Epic Records. Deborah Salvatrice Blando (born March 3, 1969) is an Italian-born Brazilian and Italian singer and composer. She has sold about six million copies sold worldwide, with six albums released between 1991 and 2002.
