Brad Rowe (footballer)
Brad Rowe (born 23 November 1969) is a former Australian rules footballer who played in the Australian Football League (AFL). He played 72 games in total for three clubs, and kicked 80 goals. Recruited from East Fremantle, Rowe was drafted by Brisbane as a first-round draft pick in the 1989 National Draft, no.5 overall. He played two seasons for only 14 games at the Bears before being traded to Collingwood. Rowe spent his best seasons of his career at the Pies between 1992–1995, as a quick goal-kicking small forward. He was accurate in front of goals, but consistency was his main problem in his later seasons. He kicked goals occasionally, including a bag of 6 goals one day at Victoria Park against Sydney. He then moved back to Perth where he played for Fremantle for one season in 1996, playing only 7 games. The East Fremantle Football Club, nicknamed the Sharks, is an Australian rules football club playing in the West Australian Football League (WAFL) and WAFL Women's (WAFLW). The team's home ground is East Fremantle Oval. East Fremantle are the most successful club in WAFL history, winning 29 premierships since their entry into the competition in 1898. History The East Fremantle Football Club was formed in 1898 and up to the end of the 2022 season the club has won 29 league premierships in the West Australian Football League. Margaret Rowe
Margaret-Anne Bernadette Rowe (née Trahair; born 1949) is a former Australian politician who was a Liberal member of the Legislative Council of Western Australia from 2005 to 2007, representing Agricultural Region. Rowe was born in Kalgoorlie, Western Australia, to Margaret Mary (née Brock) and Archibald Richard Trahair. After previously working in various administrative positions, she served on the Greenough Shire Council in 1994 and from 1997 to 2004. She also worked as a research officer for two Liberal members of the Legislative Assembly – Kevin Minson (from 1996 to 2001) and Jamie Edwards (from 2001 to 2005). Rowe first ran for parliament herself at the 2001 state election, occupying the fifth position on the Liberal Party's ticket in Agricultural Region.
