Boxing At The 2012 Summer Olympics – Men's Middleweight
The men's middleweight boxing competition at the 2012 Summer Olympics, 2012 Olympic Games in London was held from 28 July to 12 August at the ExCeL London, ExCeL Exhibition Centre. Twenty-eight boxers from 28 nations were competed. Ryōta Murata, representing Japan at the 2012 Summer Olympics, Japan, won the gold medal, defeating Brazil at the 2012 Summer Olympics, Brazil's Esquiva Falcão Florentino, Esquiva Falcão in the final. Both semi-finalists, Anthony Ogogo and Abbos Atoev from Great Britain at the 2012 Summer Olympics, Great Britain and Uzbekistan at the 2012 Summer Olympics, Uzbekistan respectively, were awarded bronze medals. ExCeL London

Evhen Khytrov ( ua, Євген Ігорович Хитров; born 18 August 1988) is a Ukrainian professional boxer. Khytrov won the gold medal at Middleweight division at the 2011 World Amateur Boxing Championships in Baku. Mohamed Hikal (born January 10, 1979) is an Egyptian boxer. He won the bronze medal in the men's middleweight division (75 kg) at the 2005 World Amateur Boxing Championships. He competed in four Olympic Games from 2000-2012. Career Hikal won the gold medal in the welterweight division at the 2003 All-Africa Games in Abuja, Nigeria. He also participated in the 2004 Summer Olympics for his native North African country. There, Hikal was defeated in the second round of the welterweight (69 kg) division by Russia's eventual bronze medalist, Oleg Saitov. Enrique "Kikin" Collazo (born 5 October 1988 in Adjuntas) is a professional boxer from Puerto Rico who competed in the 2012 Olympics as a middleweight (75 kg).
