Bougy-Villars is a municipality in the Swiss canton of Vaud, located in the district of Morges. History Bougy-Villars is first mentioned in 996 as ''in villa Balgedelco''. Starting in 1285 and until the end of the 19th century, it was known as ''Bougy-Milon''. Thereafter, it was known as ''Bougy'' until 1953, when it became Bougy-Villars.
