''BombShellShocked'' is the fourth album (third full-length album) from the Eric Stuart Band (ESB) in which Eric Stuart is the songwriter and lead singer. This album was released in 2002 under the Rev Up Records label (unlike other ESB albums, which are under Stuart's own independent label, Widow's Peak Records). One of the songs on this album is “Blood Red Rose,” in which Stuart plays acoustic guitar and sings in the absence of the band, much the same way as he opened as a solo act for Chicago (1995, 1997, 1998), Jethro Tull (1997), and Hall and Oates (1997, 1998), and toured as a solo act with Ringo Starr (1997), Lynyrd Skynyrd (1997), and Peter Frampton (1999). ''In The County Of Kings'' is the fifth album (fourth full-length album) from the Eric Stuart Band, in which Eric Stuart is the songwriter and lead singer. This album was released in 2007 under Stuart's own independent label, Widow's Peak Records. The title of the album comes from Kings County, Brooklyn, where Stuart was born and raised. In addition, the front cover art depicts the Brooklyn Bridge and New York City in juxtaposition with the Great Pyramid, the Sphinx of Giza, and the Valley of the Kings, which are in Egypt. The musical style of ''In The County Of Kings'' is more country-sounding than any previous Eric Stuart Band album, and is described by Eric Stuart as "Concrete Country." Joe Brent
Joseph Frederick Brent (born April 6, 1976) is an American composer, mandolinist, multi-instrumentalist, and teacher. He is known for his performances and arrangements of rock and indie songs, as well as his original compositions with the ensemble 9 Horses. He teaches classical mandolin at Mannes College. Brent attended the Berklee College of Music, and studied the mandolin under Carlo Aonzo in Savona, Italy. He also received instruction from Barry Mitterhoff and Adam Steffey.
