Fabian Guedes (born 16 August 1980), commonly known as Bolívar, is a Brazilian football manager and former player who played as a central defender. He is the current assistant manager of Chapecoense. Born in Santa Cruz do Sul, Bolívar initially was a right back and then switched to center back. Very instrumental in the center of defense for Internacional in the 2006 Copa Libertadores which led to a transfer to AS Monaco for R$8,664,705, with 20% transfer fee belongs to third parties. Santa Cruz Do Sul
Santa Cruz do Sul () is a city in central Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. The city has an estimate 131,000 inhabitants as of 2020 and sits about 150 km (93 miles) from the capital city of the state, Porto Alegre. The city enjoys a high standard of living and gross income per capita is 2.5 times greater than that of the state of Rio Grande do Sul as a whole. History Santa Cruz do Sul was founded on March 31, 1877 by German immigrants, most of whom came from Hunsrück. 2006 FIFA Club World Cup
The 2006 FIFA Club World Cup (officially known as the FIFA Club World Cup Japan 2006 presented by Toyota for sponsorship reasons) was a football tournament held in Japan between 10 December and 17 December 2006. It was the third FIFA Club World Cup. The club champions from each of the six confederations played in a knockout tournament. The quarter-final match-ups were determined by a draw including the AFC, CAF, CONCACAF and OFC champions, while the UEFA and CONMEBOL champions were given byes to the semi-finals. The losers of the quarter-finals would play for the fifth place, while the losers of the semi-finals were to play in a third-place play-off. The FIFA Club World Cup is an international men's association football competition organised by the ''Fédération Internationale de Football Association'' ( FIFA), the sport's global governing body. 2010 Copa Libertadores
The 2010 Copa Libertadores de América (officially the 2010 Copa Santander Libertadores for sponsorship reasons) was the 51st edition of the Copa Libertadores de América, CONMEBOL's premier international club tournament. The tournament began on January 26 and ended on August 18. During the month of June, the competition was interrupted after the conclusion of the quarterfinals due to the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa. The CONMEBOL Libertadores, also known as the Copa Libertadores de América ( pt, Copa Libertadores da América), is an annual international club football competition organized by CONMEBOL since 1960. It is the highest level of competition in South American club football. The tournament is named after the ''Libertadores'' (Spanish and Portuguese for ''liberators''), the leaders of the Latin American wars of independence, so a literal translation of its former name into English is "''America's Liberators Cup''". The Copa do Brasil 2001 was the 13th staging of the Copa do Brasil. The competition started on March 14, 2001 and concluded on June 13, 2001 with the second leg of the final, held at the Estádio do Morumbi in São Paulo, in which Grêmio lifted the trophy for the fourth time with a 3-1 victory over Corinthians. Washington, of Ponte Preta, with 12 goals, was the competition's topscorer. Format The competition was disputed by 64 clubs in a knock-out format where all rounds were played over two legs and the away goals rule was used, but in the first two rounds if the away team won the first leg with an advantage of at least two goals, the second leg was not played and the club automatically qualified to the next round. The Copa do Brasil ( en, Brazil Cup) is a knockout football competition played by 92 teams, representing all 26 Brazilian states plus the Federal District.
