Bolivia's National Basketball Team
Bolivia national basketball team is the national men's basketball team from Bolivia. In June 2021, the Bolivians succeeded in their first undertaking for the 2023 FIBA Basketball World Cup qualification (Americas). They defeated Ecuador in two games by 91-57 (on aggregate). The home game was played at the Guadalquivir Coliseum in Tarija, where more than 2,000 people attended. FIBA AmeriCup
The FIBA AmeriCup (previously known as the FIBA Americas Championship) is the Americas Basketball Championship that takes place every four years between national teams of the Western Hemisphere continents. Since FIBA organised the entire Western Hemisphere west of the Atlantic Ocean under one zone, countries from North America, Central America, the Caribbean and South America compete in this tournament. Through the 2015 edition, the Americas Championship took place every two years, and was also a qualifying tournament for the FIBA World Cup and the Summer Olympic Games. However, since 2017, the AmeriCup, along with all other FIBA continental championships for men are played once every four years. 2016 South American Basketball Championship
The 2016 South American Basketball Championship was the 47th edition of the FIBA South American Basketball Championship. Ten teams were featured in the competition, which were held in Caracas, Venezuela from June 26 – July 2, 2016.
