Bobby Ryan
Robert Shane Ryan (né Stevenson; March 17, 1987) is an American former professional ice hockey winger. He played for the Anaheim Ducks, Ottawa Senators and Detroit Red Wings in the National Hockey League (NHL). He was drafted second overall by the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim in the 2005 NHL Entry Draft. He played six seasons with the Ducks before being traded to the Senators in 2013, and one season with Detroit in 2020–21. He has also represented the United States in international and Olympic hockey. Playing career Junior After winning national championships with his minor hockey team, the Los Angeles Junior Kings, Ryan initially committed to playing for the USA Hockey's National Team Development Program at the under-18 level. Despite telling Ontario Hockey League (OHL) teams he would not play major junior, Ryan was selected by the Owen Sound Attack seventh overall in the 2003 OHL Selection Draft. Bobby Ryan (footballer)
Bobby Ryan (born 1 May 1979 in Limerick) is an Irish footballer. Career Ryan had a schoolboy career with the Geraldines nursery club in Limerick and had progressed to play for Limerick and Galway United, before Stephen Kenny signed him for Bohemians in January 2002. He made his debut for the club away to Cork City on 20 January. The 2002–03 season saw Ryan in tremendous form and he capped it off by scoring the goal that won the 2002–03 league title for Bohemians in the dying minutes of a 1–0 win over Shelbourne at Tolka Park on 12 January 2003. He never regained the form of that season while at Bohs and at the end of the 2004 season, along with teammates Glen Crowe and Colin Hawkins, moved to rivals Shelbourne in a controversial move. Ryan then won the League of Ireland championship with Shelbourne in 2006, but the squad broke up due to financial problems. Bobby Ryan (hurler)
Bobby Ryan (born 23 October 1961) is an Irish former hurler. His league and championship career with the Tipperary senior team spanned thirteen seasons from 1980 to 1993. Born in Borrisoleigh, County Tipperary, Ryan was raised in a strong hurling family. His father, Tim Ryan, and his uncles, Ned Ryan and Pat Stakelum, won All-Ireland medals with Tipperary between 1949 and 1951. Ryan had his first hurling successes with Templemore CBS. Here he won an All-Ireland medal in 1978. Ryan first appeared for the Borris–Ileigh club at juvenile and underage levels, before eventually joining the club's senior team. The highlight of his club career came in 1987 when he won an All-Ireland medal. Ryan also won one Munster medal and three county championship medals.
